Being a Tourist in our own City

We hosted some friends from out of town over the weekend. With eight kids and four adults we had to find some fun activities while also site seeing with our friends. We chose to go to the Alamo, then across the street to the wax museum and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.

We’ve been to the Alamo a dozen times now but my kids never tire of seeing and learning all about the Alamo.1-IMG_3993

After lunch we headed to Louis Tussaud’s Wax Museum where we took pictures with some of our favorite stars and characters!

Just next door is the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. It houses three stores of crazy, fun, and even interactive exhibits!1-IMG_4022 1-IMG_4023 1-IMG_4024

We were having so much fun that I almost forgot to snap pictures at all of the places we visited. It’s fun hosting friends and being a tourist in your own city! Have you toured your city recently?

  1. I’ve never been to the Alamo! We’ve been in San Antonio for nearly five years and I’ve never sen anything but the outside. I love your idea of playing tourist in our own town.
