Easy Sausage & Shrimp Jambalaya

Easy Sausage & Shrimp Jambalaya

  • 1 LB GF Smoked Sausage Link, sliced
  • 1 LB Shrimp, thawed and shell/tail removed
  • 1 Large can Black Beans, drained
  • 1 Large Can Red Beans, drained
  • 3 Cups White Rice
  • 6 TBS Cajun Seasoning

In a large skillet cook sausage and shrimp until hot or about 10 minutes. Meanwhile in a pot cook rice as directed on package. Mix in Cajun seasoning to sausage and shrimp, then add the beans and cook for about 10 minutes. Once rice is cooked add it to the skillet, mix and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.

Yields: 10 servings                                                                                                                                   Cook Time: 5 minute prep, 25 minutes cooking

Additional Add-ins: Add Bell Pepper and Onion while cooking Sausage and Shrimp. Top with cheese and sour cream.
